Ikea?! Looks like custom built-ins!! And the board and batten really makes it custom! -
What an amazing project! This looks like a 100% custom built-in. I cannot believe how seamless the Ikea pieces flow together. Excellent work, Christina! -
Looks absolutely beautiful. Reminds me of the old commercial where the mom tosses some flour in her face before serving rice crispy treats. Keep quiet and let everyone admired your custom cabinetry! -
I totally agree with the others...it looks completely custom! I love the backs of the bookcases, too. -
I agree with Kyle, you did a fantastic job. -
Well done! -
Looks like a million bucks. Well done!!! -

I need this badly in my kitchen.

Very professional -
thank you for sharing your amazing transformation pics! I live so close to yu,I should stop in for a look...;) -
Your wall looks great! We just completed something very similar with the Besta Collection from Ikea. I can't wait to share your pics with my husband. We picked up all our pieces from Ikea Memorial Day (our first trip = 47 boxes),lol, and completed the project July 4th. After several add'l trips it is now complete with added shelving, lighting, etc. We are so pleased with our newly "built in" wall unit! -
This is beautiful. You did a fantastic job mixing and matching pieces, and finishing it off. It looks like it was always there. Thanks for sharing! -
You took readymades and converted them into built-ins. Outstanding; looks like a custom job............which of course, it is, since you customized it! You've a great touch. -
Thanks everyone for all the kind words!!! -
You did a wonderful job Christina. Can you share the total cost for the project if anyone is interested in doing a similar design? Thanks for providing inspiration. -
This wall of built ins cost roughly $1,500. I had priced built in out just out of curiosity and was quoted four times that amount! Adding the board and batten in between for where the tv will eventually go really helped customize the space. Measure you space out and mix and match pieces to get the look as well as the storage that you need. You can customize it even more by painting the entire "unit." -
i wish i had this kind of vision and talent. -

I LOVE this! Definitely something to keep in mind if I ever get to add on a room! -
Thanks Christina for providing the cost. That is not bad considering it adds so much storage to your room. So we all could save some considerable money by following your lead ;) -
I LOVE this!! I have been looking for something just like this for our tv room. Thanks for sharing this. -
Love it!!! I love Hemnes too, I'm so jealous of your ingenuity and use of the prefab furniture as built ins...come build my rooms too please? -
I just love the GREAT ideas I get when I visit here! BRILLIANT!!!!! :0)
