Pallet Fence for my dogs

My 4 dogs had the run of the yard, but Luci was difficult to catch when it was time to come inside. This is what I came up with. I can't decide if I should paint, stain or leave it natural. Any suggestions?

Sealing it might make it last longer..(???) but it looks great just natural!

I think a stain or seal will be essential to keep these looking good - its looks a bit sunny where you are and untreated wood will suffer. Lovely upcycling idea though.

Thanks ! That's what I will do . Before I do that I am calling a friend to see if she has some old fence boards lying around.Luci found a way out yesterday .I will post more pictures when I'm done. This is my first project outside by myself. I am really excited to see it to the end.

I would use weather proof paint. The pallets look more an eye sour. If your up to it, I would find better pallets. Then use the upper half into a vertical garden. Make sure the pallets are heat treaded not chemical treated. It's easy to notice, it's printed on the pallet. The heat treaded pallets are safer to grow herbs for cooking. I hope this help.

I like this. Almost did it to keep guest dog from going totally around house. Might deter people looking into my yard, peepers.

Great job! I keep all my pallets "natural" with just a water sealant. I don't think the pallets are an eye-sore at all...and the only recommendation I'd make is to perhaps have a board at the base to secure them to; that way eliminating the hodge-podge of things you have holding them up. It's a learning experience...keep up the good work!!!
