Painted concrete floors

We have painted the floors in the study, lounge, dining, bedroom and walk in robe! loving it and sooo cheap and easy to maintain. We used Berger Jet Dry aqua tread satin. The concrete was cleaned, holes were filled and sanded- just like a wall would be. We then rolled 3 coats of the Berger on.

WHITE, OF COURSE--SIGH! GOD GAVE US COLOR! LOTS & LOTS OF AWESOME COLORS! BUT IT DOES LOOK VERY NICE.

THE ONLY COLOR SHOWING IS IN YOUR PICTURES; NOT BLACK & WHITE? LOL.

I'm going to do this and add the look of old brick to it. It will look like a old brick patio/road when I am done.

there is a concrete sealer that should be put on as a top coat. that way with the sealer you can mop and it stays shiny.

I love it! Very nice job. Did you use a machine to sand them down?

I live in Texas where my concrete is cracked and settled, I'm sure, under the carpet. Could this still work?

What do you clean the concrete with? What if there is some kind of paint on it now?

I did this in 2002 only painted stones using only two shades of gray and two shades of tan. It looked like uneven large stones but was totally flat and everyone visiting commited on it. It was beautiful.

For cracked or split cement, just fill in with self leveling product. After it dries, smooth down with sander.
