Easy 2x4 Farmhouse Table

My farm house table is finally done!! I'd had it in my head to build one forever, but out it off and put it off, intimidated by my lack of experience in the building department. I searched through different plans, and since I could find anything that was the size and experience level, aka appropriate for someone who's never built a thing, I decided to draw up my own plans. This is a basic table, and aside from the table top, it's constructed completely out of 2x4s!
I enlisted the assistance of my hubby. This is definitely a case of two sets of hands being better than one! We made pocket holes with our a Kreg Jig on the short ends of the apron.
We added our center supports and some snazzy 2x4 legs. Yup, those legs are just two 2x4s with a routed decorative edge and then secured together.
I stained the frame with milk paint...
....and then secured the top to the frame with Kreg joints.
Here's our finished table!!! For more details, head on over to my blog www.simplesoutherncharmblog.com and make sure to check me out on Facebook at www.facebook.com/SimpleSouthernCharm. Thanks a bunch! xo
