Time to Clean up, Repair, and Re-Seal the storage room in the Basement
The rest of the basement is finished (as in, has drywall, waiting to be re-done), so the laundry and storage room were first on the list to get sealed up and make sure our long-standing water issues are taken care of. I cleaned the walls and floor really well, brushed all the loose concrete off, and then went to work.
First we sealed any cracks or holes with hydraulic cement to make sure we stay dry.
Then, we used UGL Drylok sealant. Finally we moved some storage racks in, and viola!

I've sealed one of my basement rooms so far. We had a lot of rain this past year and on one particular occasion the room that was sealed didn't leak, but water did leak through floor in a size of a dinner plate. Has anyone sealed the floors too?

yes seal the walls and the floor some even seal the ceiling. Don't forget the outside walls too.
