Fall Thanksgiving Tablescape

Today I’m sharing my Fall Tablescape done on a budget of course. This year I wanted to style it a little differently then last year and go with lighter more neutral tones and pumpkins
I bought a pack of gift tags/place cards at Michaels with %50 off they were $1.49 and wrote our names in script and added them to the painted mini pumpkins.
I bought the Fall Felt Leaves Placemats at the Dollar Store and some bags of mini pumpkins there too. Yet they didn’t start out the way they look now. I found these brick red felt leaves and spray painted them with Lime Green and it gave them this fall leave look that I like much better. I’ll share how in another post later in the week.
I pulled my Sweater Pumpkins that I made last year and my other white and neutral pumpkins (the large one I just found the other day at a thrift store for $2.95 and it was a bright orange and I painted it white) to the table with some gold votives and I grabbed some pinecones I had and used them for candle holders.
I love using natural elements whenever I can and we have a beautiful 100 year old Oak Tree in our backyard that drops acorns or acorn like nuts so my daughter and I gathered a bunch today.
I bought the pretty ivory roses at our Vons Market for $9.99 and split them up. I placed a smaller vase inside my small vases and then loaded the acorns around it and added my roses. I love the way they turned out.
The napkins are made from a pretty roses fabric I found last year at a thrift store for $4 and I made pillows out of it too.
I love the pretty rich fall colors and it worked perfectly with my fall leaves too. I think there are so many ways to set a beautiful table and it doesn’t have to close a lot. Think about what you already have in your home, what natural elements can you pull from nature, from your yard or your neighbors and hunt those thrift stores for incredible finds that you can incorporate into your home.
