Our First Refinished Piece - Coffee Table

This is my first post and this was our first refinish project! We recently purchased a summer lake house in the Catskills (NY) and I've fallen in love with the French shabby chic/farmhouse country cottage look so we have decided to refinish, recycle some pieces.
Coffee Table before
First sanded entire piece
Minor drawer repairs
Then we added depth and architectural elements to front drawer and sides
Then painted with Country Living Artisans Collection ... Textured Basecoat. Textured Basecoat in Parchment ... The bonding coat that will adhere to almost any surface, with a little texture.
Painted w Country Living Artisans Parchmonti
Then stained top with Minwax wood finish in ebony
Then using Caromal Colours® Toner painted on then wiped off
For being our first piece, we are pleased! I want to thank everyone here on Hometalk for giving us the tips, ideas and inspiration!
