A Mini Makeover in Our Basement. There are several flat weave area rugs in this room. They add warmth in cooler months.

Bookshelves and columns.

When our hearth room was featured in Weekend Spaces, someone asked where are the books. The books are in this room, on the lower level of our home. It's a place for our family to gather. Our grandchildren especially enjoy this room

I'm always the one asking "where are the books?" We have a small 1,000-square-foot house, so we have books in every room, including the garage and the bathroom. Anyhow, your basement looks comfy and great.
