Gardening: Mystery Bush at a friends house

So, my friend just moved into a new house and has these bushes that none of us can identify. Any thoughts? I believe she is in Tennessee. Thanks for any help!

ruining the fence might help to do away with some of the flies... we were wrong... :( sprays havent helped and between my neighbor and I we are lost! Stupid flies... come on cool weather! Thats the only thing that seems to keep them away.

Go with shiny silver accents. The silver will brighten it up and go along with the color ...»
scheme perfectly! Add picture frames, handles and knobs to dressers. Silver will add just the right amount of pop you are looking for without going over board, and can be done easily in any budget.

Design & Décor: What color backsplash shoud I go with?

We have cherry cabinets and dark countertops, what color would look best for the backsplash? We will be using tile of some sort, but after going this far with this kitchen redo, I don't want ordinary tile.

Maybe you could go with a cream or similar color, to match the floor. This will also help ...»
brighten up the area with the lighter color in contrast to the dark counters and dark cabinets.
