A Pile of Trash

I love to shop on trash day. Here are some pieces that I found. An old kitchen cabinet, doors from another cabinet, legs from a coffee table, and a shutter.
I asked my husband to put the legs on the cabinet.
He added the bottom with recycled wood I found.
Added the top. It was from recycled wood .
We didn't end up using the shutter that I wanted. It wouldn't work. So just went out and found something that did.
Here is the back of the piece. We used recycled cabinet doors.
Ok. He is finished. My husband calls it Franken Cabinet because it is made with many parts. :) Now it's my turn to get it painted.
I added texture wall paper, and antique glass hardware. I also painted a small basket to go with the piece.
This is how the inside looks like. I now have a place to hold my antique wine glasses and my husbands favorite beverage. :)
It was a lot of work. It turned out better then I thought.
