Master Bath Makeover - New Floors and Paint

Two and a half years ago, we bought our house and liked the master bathroom right away. It was big enough, but not too big, and we knew that with some cosmetic changes it could be really beautiful.
I knew that I needed to update the floor and vanity first, and that may change the direction I went with paint. So I got the vanity updated by gel staining just like I did to the powder room vanity and the kitchen cabinets, and tackled the lovely, urine-colored linoleum floor next.
We chose vinyl flooring from Lowe's that looks like wood for this room, and it was about 99 cents/square foot, so we did the whole floor in this room for less than $45! Here are some pictures from that process...Start by cleaning your floors and placing the tiles, staggering them like you would a wood floor.
When you get to places you need to cut, like this, I laid the flooring and cut with a utility knife.
To get the tiles under the transition to the carpet, I lifted it carefully with a screwdriver to get the tile underneath.
To cut around toilets, I make a simple template with printer paper, traced onto the tile with a pencil and then cut with the utility knife.
The room looks incredible.

@ErinColburn, You did a fantastic job there. Peel and stick. That's what I put in our bathroom, but back then, they didn't have all of the pretty wood look vinyl that they have today. We're going to re-do ours this Spring or Summer and I can't wait.
