Closet into Mudroom http://ourpinterestingfamily.blogspot.com/2012/02/mudroom-in-closet.html

We took an ordinary closet and transformed into a small mudroom. It cost approximately $330 dollars. It is a much more functional space now. :)

Fantastic job! Not only functional, but beautiful and eyecatching! We had 1 closet in the entry and a blank alcove which we turned into a second closet. When we realized they were just junk collectors, we turned both into a pantry by adding shelves! We went to the container store and bought racks to hang inside the doors for even more space! It was one of the best things we ever did!

This is a great idea!!!!Did you make or buy the cushion? How much work was it to frame the bench?

@Polly Zieper we made the cushion with some foam and just wrapped in in fabric. :) It was not too much work to frame it out. This was one of my husband's first projects. :)
