Blue interiors
Someone asked me yesterday about using Blue as an interior design color. Most people I think perceive blue to be a cold color, however I much prefer the term 'cool'. I have written an article, with some nice examples of how blue can be used for interior design. One interesting aspect is the kitchen. I would like to know how many folks here think the 'Blue Kitchen' is unpleasant or cold.

I love blue, I'm sitting in my blue den, but I don't think I'm crazy about that blue, in the kitchen. I loved the bedroom and the navy and white livingroom though.

I liked the bedroom and the living room. because the colors in the rooms were mixed therefore the blue was not such a dominant color (blue of that color does not fade into the background), it is the background. In the first picture the blue color was glaring to me. In the kitchen it was just too much and took away from my concept of a kitchen being warm and inviting and a place family gather. These are merely my likes and dislikes and should be taken in that regard. :)
