I'm having a little problem getting my bearings here. The windows and walls are different sizes from one picture to the next. Is this a different part of the same room, or did you replace windows and add new doors?

I am not a modern style person, but you did a great job.

Becky all the windows were replaced...the small one on the right became a larger slider instead....the post actually was the most dramatic change being replaced by new post and beam work which also vaulted the ceiling even higher....now part of the ceiling is over 16 feet tall allowing natural convection of the heat out of the room and much needed light that was sparse being in the middle of the woods....

Thanks for explaining. I thought your post was about altering the furnishings in the home, but what drew my attention were the windows and door. I'm laughing at myself now. These alterations certainly make a huge difference in that room. Congrats!
