Sewing Machine Feet Display?

I have gone through a number of sewing machines over the last 30ish years and collected a wide variety (and sizes) of sewing machine feet. It is an accidental collection, but now I want a way to creatively display them. Any ideas?

What a neat "accidental" collection. I'd say do something similar to what you shared in the first picture and placing them on either pretty fabric or paper in a shadow box to display in your sewing room. You could also label them if you wanted as shown in that example too.

A shadow box is a great idea Becky!

These are awesome. A framed shadow box on the wall in your sewing room would be great with the labels.

Wanted to show y'all what I ended up doing. This is now proudly hanging in my sewing/crafting room.

That's a beautiful way to display them. I'd add pictures of old sewing machines to the display. Or perhaps, another matching frame to hold the old sewing machine pictures. I, too, am a sewer and have old antique items. When my sewing room is organized I'm putting them in frames all over the walls!

Some of those accessories actually made it possible for old. mechanical machines to do things that the newer, computerized ones can't. You coud take them apart and clean and fix them yourself. You would not get into a computerized machine with a screwdriver--even if you could.

What about putting them in a shadow box

Wow! I am impressed that you know the purpose for all of them. I seldom change feet because I have no idea what my extra feet are for.

@Grandmasue10 Too bad I never used many of them! I have three computerized sewing/embroidery machines now that I can barely operate... I am sure that they do amazing things that I doubt I will ever figure out! LOL!

IKEA makes a magnetic strip that is 15" x 1". I use it for pins as well as pressers feet.

I have lots as well. I often wish I knew what machines since some come from sales in boxes of other t hings. I have a bunch of old machines as used to collect them but big problem, space. So got rid of a lot. I love old sewing machines.
