Your laundry room is just beautiful, very well thought out and so organized! Your pictures show many ideas for how a person can organize and minimize the appearance of the necessary stuff we all have in our laundry rooms. Thanks for sharing.
I love this color it's so retro. We (I) would like to paint our huge living room this color and buy a bunch of funky furniture to fit in on retro scene.
Sounds like a plan with winter coming will probably take me a week to paint. When we moved into this home 7 years ago, we had lived a a small Cape Cod for 25 years. Our children are grown and left (why did we buy bigger??) We have a huge family room where we hang out. We also have this gigantic living room without enuff furniture to use. So like you said after the Holidays the couch and recliner are gone and the painting shall begin!!
Thank-you so much!!! The ceilings were what I was searching for...a way to make the T-bar look vintage. Can I ask what the comparison in cost might be for bead board instead of the suggested t-bar tiles?? Is the bead board a heavier solution than the tiles?
Tracey Stokes-Stagg I am not sure of the cost comparison because the grid and tiles were already installed before we bought the house, we simply replaced the 2x4 tiles with cut pieces of beadboard. As for the weight factor, the beadboard weighs much less than the tiles. There is no acoustical or insulation factor, though.
