What a difference a little color can make.

This door was white when we started and did nothing to draw your eye to where you wanted to go when you when you came up to the house.

With the old creme brick, granite surround and grey steps, the blue made it pop.

The door had the alligator appearance that comes from years of coatings peeling away. The homeowner did not wish to completely restore the door so we used a product by XIM called 'Peel Bond', that sticks down loose paint edges and then painted with a satin sheen paint.

Thanks. It's a very 'clear' blue called 'Honorable Blue' from Sherwin Williams.

Perhaps blue is making a come back.

Very nice color. So many times I see red used but I think the blue is a nice alternative. Then again, I am partial to blue myself.

Looks sharp. I like my funky green door, but this is even better. I'm jealous.

Be the first on your block, Lesley. Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission!

    Thanks friends!
