$92 Kitchen Makeover - Gypsy Barn Style! Grrrrl Power!

We wanted a really rustic barn feel in the kitchen, but who has the money for all new cabinetry, counter tops and back splashes all in one? Especially a month before Christmas! We were challenged to make it over with a budget of $250. In the end, it cost $92!
The hideous Before pictures! I was almost in tears at the $250 budget ..... but that just made it more of a challenge!
The after. Same cabinets, just with a little Gypsy Barn fine tuning! We re-used scrap lumber to create the cross boards, a dremel for some detailing, rough stripping, and layered paint finishes.
The old countertops and lack of backsplash. Burn marks, dents, chips, missing outlet covers = Nightmare! #DIYcountertop
New countertop and backsplash. We simply used BeautyRock products for covering concrete pool decks and garage floors. The backsplash was a roll of $19.00 paintable wallpaper. Then Countertop Epoxy on counter and backsplash
View of the far left of the kitchen. We put up a door finally and replaced the missing cupboard doors. An old closet door with some chalkboard paint, and now we have our grocery list and honey do board!
Here's a nice before and after of the left side of the kitchen.

We have ugly yellow oak . Painted backsplash. One apple red wall . We bought light gay paint for the cabints . Not sure if we're putting beadboard or Shiplap for our backsplash . Going to paint it a white/gray . A little black here & there.. Can't wait to get started .
