New Paint Color in Guest Bedroom
by

After living with our bright yellow guest bedroom for three years, I couldn't take it anymore. It was time to get out the paint brush and tone it down a little bit. After all, I felt as if I needed to put on some sunglasses before I walked into the room.
I chose the color Creme by Sherwin Williams because it has a soft yellow undertone. I did not want a green, gray, pink, or greige undertone.
The color is so much softer and calmer than the bright yellow it had been before. I left many of the accessories the same, but I hung some blue and white plates over the bed. They replaced another set that I moved to our foyer.
These pillows stayed on the bed because they work fine with the new color.
I love walking past the room and seeing this fresh look. To see more, please read our blog: http://the2seasons.com/2014/09/08/new-paint-guest-room/
You can sort of see the difference in the two colors in this side by side. Go to our blog to get a better look: http://the2seasons.com/2014/09/08/new-paint-guest-room/
