Water Fountain/wood project

I am finally done adding 3 layers of plastics! It works beautiful!! I still need to buy a fountain, I can't find one anywhere for a good deal! Plus, I don't want to pay for rocks. Anyone know where I can get a fountain and rocks?! :D

Have you tried Craigslist? At least around here, people are always giving away rock if people are willing to pick it up.

Nice job! Do you live near any rivers or lakes? If so take a day and go out and pick some up, its free. As for the fountain. Here Habitat for Humanity has a resale store. That is the first place I look for use items for the house and if you find it, the money is for a good cause.

I don't know about a fountain, but if you have a soil/mulch/landscaping place nearby, when they sift dirt they usually run across rocks which they will either sell cheaply or give away. You might want to try them. And people who sell stone sometimes have a "junk" pile where you can pick out things cheaply! Be careful about taking things from rivers and lakes...some are state and federally protected and big finds are attached to these! Good luck!

If you have a Hobby Lobby near you they have pumps and you could use one of their 40% off coupons they have in their ads most of the time. You can get their ads in your email by signing up on their website.
