Like this beautiful 4 o'clock flower, blooming in our back yard around pears tree and along the veggie plants. Its botanical name is Mirabilis Jalapa and also North and South America called Marvel, Peru. Different color varieties of the flower, and different colored blossom on the same plant. In Tamil Nadu Peoples called this flower named as Anthi Mantharai.
It is blooming time of 4 o'clock, in the middle of the afternoon, some of them bloom evening 8 - 10 o'clock, and closes early in the morning. Or little bit earlier on a cloudy afternoon.

Final night, caught in my camera beautiful 4 o'clock flowers.
I found this plant from 4 o'clock flower seed. I am wondering this is very different from other 4 o'clock flower plant. Does anyone know this plant?

To answer your question about new strange plant, it is called a pokeweed. It is a horrible and very aggressive weed that you do NOT want in your garden. Do not let it seed itself (I see on the photos that it already has ripe berries). Also, it has a very big long root that you would need to dig out if you want to eradicate the pokeweed. Olga.

The berries are loved by birds, but hopefully your car is in the garage because once the birds have eaten the berries and poop on your car, it leaves stains that are VERY difficult to wash off.
