    I used Benjamin Moore Brandy Creme as the base color, the for the stencil I used Martha Stewart Metallic Glaze in Mercury. I felt that paint was too flat for the effect I wanted in such a small space. The slight metallic sheen the glaze adds to the paint color was just right!

    Very pretty. I have some of those large stencils. I plan on using them on furniture though. Not sure I'd want to tackle a whole wall, but you make it look so easy......

    This believe it or not, was the finish on the walls in my spare room...when I bought the house 30 years ago.including the metallic background...LOL...talk about styles coming back! I've finally lived to see it...It's Beautiful, at the time I needed a nursery so it had to go...but I thought it was fabulous even then...
