Backyard Pond with Waterfall

Before we had a small pond and waterfall that was basically grade level. This spring my husband wanted to enlarge it with a bigger waterfall. He also hoped to add some extra seating. It has a cinder block wall that was covered with slate and topped with flagstone. The pond and waterfall was small of concrete and rocks and flagstone arranged on it to give it a more natural look. Now the water flows down the higher waterfall providing us with the soothing sounds of man made nature!!! Too see more, go to http://awalkinthecountryside.blogspot.com/20...

Kudos to your husband for building such a nice pond/waterfall! That's the way it is with ponds; start small and increase size and height. Gets into the blood.
