Love this - I have a ginormous vent on my 3rd floor and have been trying to think of a way to cover it!

Doesn't this block air and reduce the efficiency of your air conditioner? I honestly have no idea. I'm just curious if Woodbridge or anyone else out there knows.

We widened our air vents a little with our pliers (as mentioned in the blog post) and of course had our HVAC professional take a look at it as well just to be safe!

What an awesome improvement, but have you thought of painting the white grate a charcoal color as in your inspiration?
