Small bathroom remodel

We remodeled this small bathroom years ago. I still love it, and from what I've seen and read, it still seems to be in style.

How pretty. Love the shutters and the pedestal sink.

Dee W., thank you. Given the size of the storage opening, standard shutters were too thick to use. So, we purchased a bifold shutter door, cut it into half and created shutters thin enough to use for our storage/window.

Jeanette S., thank you! I had plenty of years to consider what I wanted to do with this bathroom: visually increase its space, colors and change its style, and given the opportunity to do it, implemented years of plans.

Beautiful! Love the blue and white, especially shutters and bead board. It's a classic look.

Thank you Donna; in reality, the paint is an aqua. Between the camera and computer, the color doesn't seem to be quite accurate in the photo.

I love the colors in this. It's a classic - never goes out of style. :) Great job!

Thanks April. What I've found though is most women enjoy this bathroom, while men seem to enjoy the master bath (I designed for Mr.) which is more contemporary. I think women really do prefer the aqua (or blue) and white comfort of a cottage feel.

You're welcome, Becky! I think you may be right. I know I love the cottage look.
