DIY Bottle Lamp

You can make a cute lamp for your home out of a bottle with this simple crafty project. I created this adorable beach inspired lamp for a client and love how it turned out. Most of the items needed to complete this project can be purchased at your local craft shop.
You will need a new or used bottle, a lampshade, glue, a bottle lamp kit and fabric to cover the shade (optional). I bought a lampshade that has an adhesive backing that makes it super easy to cover with fabric.
A few months ago I turned this vintage soda bottle into a lamp for my Country kitchen. I decoupaged vintage recipes and images from an old cook book onto a thrift store shade.
You can use any type of bottle to match your décor and you can also use a ready made shade from your local home store. I have had these beautiful cobalt blue bottles laying around for over a year now. I plan on turning these into lamps as well. One is an antique seltzer bottle and the other one is an old Vodka bottle I rescued from the trash.
