I read that 2 pounds of Epsom Salt and 1 pound of Baking Soda makes a very effective detox. Pour into a bathtub of warm water, soak and enjoy. It dissolves very nicely in the water.

Just to be clear, as a friend asked about this on Facebook the other day. These formulas are for actual soaking aids for the bath, not the dangerous designer drugs known as bath salts.

Epsom Salt has been a favorite for soaking for decades. It is funny but when Grandmother was bone tired from standing on her feet all day cooking, cleaning and washing (remember no convenient appliances), she would often soak her feet in a pan of warm water with ES. Now we scientifically know that soothing the feet can make the entire body feel better! Grandmother had some pretty smart ideas that are proving to be true!
