Better (and cheaper) the Liquid Plummer... Pour a 2 liter bottle down your shower drain once a month to prevent hair clogs... If you have a clog, it will bubble like crazy eating all buildup (may take overnight), but by morning you will have a clear drain.

We'd love to see it Brenda! Please email me at jessica@brightnest.com. The recipe on the blog is directly from the Coca-Cola Company, but it sounds like your mother improved on a classic!

There is also a Weight Watcher chocolate cake you make with a box of chocolate cake, and egg white and a diet coke. It is really good. Make it with a Red Velvet cake mix too.

Its not the sugar that keeps you awake it is the caffeien! Anyone who drinks Coca cola must be crazy! It will eat a 16 penny nail! Can you imagine what it does to your stomach! Oh and the whole sugar is bad is over rated!

It's the phosphoric acid, people. It gives the tang to soft drinks. Orange juice and lemonade have a higher acid content than Coca Cola. Drop a staple or paper clip into each one overnight and see which one eats more of the metal. Your stomach acid is far more dangerous than phosphoric acid. According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), a consumer watchdog group not affiliated with the food industry, only a small fraction of the phosphate in the American diet comes ...»
from additives in soft drinks. Most comes from meat and dairy products. So your reason for not drinking Coke should be its sugar content and artificial food colorings, not the phosphoric acid.

I stopped drinking coke, and all sodas years ago, then started chemo because of Cancer..I had a sick stomach all the time, I tried coke, and it was the best I felt since I started Chemo. I have no idea why, but I know it helps me.

When I was growing up, my dad and I would drive into the country, we would stop and get a bottle (glass) of coke, if it started raining, he would pull over and pour it across the windshield to cut grime off.

My Dad used to do that too Sherrie. It started to rain so we stopped at the store and poured the whole bottle over the windshield and it was clear as day after that.

I can remember the coke being put on windshield also. My grandmother , drank the little glass bottles of coke every day. she lived to be 98. my mom her daughter the same and lived to be 89. I know I am also addicted to them also . but I do drink diet caffene free.only. I have Celiac Disease. If your not familar with the disease. I am allergic to Gluten, (Wheat, all grains except rice) So I will keep drinking the diet cokes, and hope to live as long as They did. I am also diabetic, but keep in control with pills / no shots. God bless everyone.
