Although green is one of my favorite colors, the blue is particularly relaxing at night

I am sorry, but neither one. Given me natural light any day of the week. Just a matter of taste.

It has been scientifically proven that blue light actitates the brain while orange light sooths the brain....so since this is night, perhaps orangeish/red light might be better. It has even been found that blue light of tv or computer can interfer with sleep. Best to get orange light bulbs for your lamps...they are now sold at the big box stores...if you do not believe me, look in lighting next time you go in one!
