How to remove ink stains

I have a black ink stain on my white quilt, that just won't budge! Any suggestions?

    Hair spray.

    Hair spray or rubbing alcohol should work, providing you haven't run it through the dryer yet.

    I had the same problem with an old blue ink. In desperation after trying store bought products I tried bleach-made no difference. The only thing that has worked for me is soaking it in a bowl with a strong oxy-clean solution and rubbing a paste of oxy-clean on it. going back several times and rubbing more oxy-clean on it. It's now a pale blue, still there but not as noticable.

To get rid of the ballpoint ink from clothing you launder, placethe garment on a towel stain-side down. Lightly dampen a cloth with rubbingalcohol and gently dab (do not rub) the stain.
