Reduce. Reuse. Repretty!

I can't say that I have always been the type of person to completely understand how to reduce and reuse. It's not that I didn't want to, I just wasn't sure how. But through doing a ton of projects and crafts, you learn pretty quick that all those little things add up to a lot of money. So now, instead of getting everything new and shiny, I actually prefer items that I already have, even if they're a little dusty and loved. If you're on this site, I KNOW you know what I'm talking about! Which is why I decided to take my old candle sconces and modernize them a little to make them into something totally awesome!
The after!
I'm still looking for just the right mirror to go in between, but what a difference! Especially for something so easy that takes about 15 minutes to do. Just my style!
The boring before.
Before I would have looked at this and said, "Totally outdated, get rid of it!"
But a little thinking outside the box gave me the total pop of color I have been craving and some more plant life... well, in my life!

Great evolution. Where did you buy the sconces?
