Five Minute Bird Bath

An old step stool + a plant saucer + an accent piece = an instant bird bath made with materials I already had on hand. No cost and no skills required! See more of my projects, garden field trips, etc. on http://ourfairfieldhomeandgarden.com or go to Len and Barb Rosen on Pinterest to Our Fairfield Garden!

You're right, Becky! This is one of the most popular watering stations in our yard.

I should make one for our birdies. I try and leave puddles when I water since it's been so dry, but they don't last long. One of these on the back deck would be nice. Think I'll see what I can muster up around the house or head to WM and get a tray for them. I probably have something that will work though. Thanks for the idea.

cute idea! I don't actually have any of that around here but the creative thinking that brought you to this, has my own thoughts searching for something similar. I've been shopping for a bird bath but never find what I really want...because what I like is a LOT more like what you just created!

Thanks, Wendy! An old stool or small end table painted and placed in the garden with a pottery saucer would work wonderfully too ~ have fun!
