Wow- it's a good thing you're organized- that's a lot of stuff! It looks terrific! -
Wow!!!!! Great Job! Can you come to my house and spend about a month straightening out every room? Love this! -
I've seen craft stores with less crafting gear than you have - and definitely stores that don't look as good. -
Nice! We are working on our 'scrap/craft' room. Got some great ideas from your post...thanks! -
Marty, how did you fasten the ribbon dowels to the wall? This room is awesome...nice job and thanks for sharing. Thanks, but I found the link that explains what you did so you already answered my question. I just can't imagine what kind of hooks to use that would keep the ribbon spools far enough away from the walls. Like you, I have ribbon up the wazoo, right now in huge cardboard boxes. I'd love to free them so I know what I have. -
What a great idea! I need a craft room just like this! -
great room ! -
*Love! -
@Margaret Harvey: the dowel rod is wooden and is attached to the wall with eye bolts. There are rubber washers attached to each end to keep the ribbon from sliding off. -
You should turn the cubes that hold your papers to lay flat. They won't warp that way. I LOVE this space! -
Cindy P Sorry I never responded to you, but the cubes aren't changeable. I did recently use cut up paper towel rolls to stabilize the papers in the slots. Not pretty but effective! -
You are one organized mama!! Love it all!! -
Thanks Anne D! I'm blogging more and creating less. Not sure I like that :( -
Same here & me neither!! -
Love this, and I definitely need to do something similar w/ my "library/office/craft" all in one room! Thanks for posting it! -
Thank you Terri J! I love the room even though projects other than scrapbooking have taken it over! -
Marty, I just realized where you live and an old friend of mine - Annie (Ruffin) Daniels once lived there and went to college near by. By any chance does that name ring a bell? Ruffin was her single name, then it went to Daniels, then something else. Her love for Kill Devil Hills took her back home though, so she is no longer in the area. I thought I would just take a chance - you never know... -
Hey, Terri J the name doesn't ring a bell. Sorry. Kill Devil Hills is amazing. We just went there this past year.
