How cute & whimsical!! I love to just sit & look at these and kind of go somewhere imaginary in my mind . . . . . . it's sooo much fun to escape reality once in a while!! LOL
Susan, I'm with you on the need to escape reality now and then. I think it does us good and this little darling setting makes me feel like a tiny little fairy with no cares in the world.
Well, when I made mine I began with a huge broken pot and built it up to a point where I could add some large pieces of bark off of slices from a downed tree. I used those to brace it so that I could add more soil. I continued up to a higher point and added another larger piece of bark and continued to add more soil. They I added the smaller pots always leaving a space around each addition to be able to plant in.

Some folks are finding it better to put a dowel or rod of some sort down the middle to keep things in alignment but I prefer to let things move the way they want to.
