I love this! A HINT TO CRAFTERS AND SEWERS: One of the best places to look for wide sizes of fabric is tablecloths on sale. I have even used the damask ones for upholstering chairs and it lasted for over a decade until I wanted to change the color!

@Jeanette S I have also used shower curtains. I fashioned a headboard frame out of PVC pipe and made what I will call a giant pillow case out of a shower curtain and slipped it over the frame. Worked great and very changeable. Yes, it was hollow, but some foam could be included. I was selling my house and wanted it for staging.

This is awesome! Especially when headboards cost a fortune! Also, I love that elephant pillow! :)
    • @Hannah V Thanks Hannah for your comment, it cost me under $200. The pillow is so cute, on the other side it has a goat, they are all animals. I saw one for sale and it was a fortune. I spotted the fabric on sale and bought enough to make this cushion for a quarter of the price of the one I saw ready made :)
