Chestnut is a very interesting wood, with a history behind it. We occasionally get projects in that call for reclaimed, antique chestnut.

I love chestnut...though I have not had much chance to work with it...here in Colorado...we do not have those classic old barns made from hardwoods.

Yea, for us, it's a matter of client request for Chestnut. This year has been the year of Walnut and Cherry for most of the projects we're seeing. (Which don't get me wrong, we love them too!)
