Hot & "Settee"

OK, maybe not so "hot", but definitely a "settee".
This was my first attempt at a big re-upholstery project. I wanted a little settee for our foyer, and couldn't afford to spend a lot of money. I found "Blue" here on Craigslist for $30. I thought that was pretty great since buying a new settee could set you back hundreds of dollars.
This being my first rodeo, I also did not want to use an expensive fabric that I could end up wasting with errors or mistakes, so I used BURLAP!

After putting in some hours with painting, tufting, nail-heading, sewing the cording...here's the final product! I did call in a favor for sewing that cushion. Was worried about sewing those corners correctly, so I didn't try that this go around.
For $50 (including the cost of the NAILHEAD TRIM), I think this turned out pretty well!
No longer cold and blue, now this guy is "hot" and "settee"!!
