Plain Jane Desk Given a Colorful Facelift

This desk was soon to be homeless so it got a little facelift and has found a new home. It got a little sanding and paint and a new life. I couldn't decide what color to paint it so I just gathered some of my favorites and used them all. I choose not to paint the inside because it would have been difficult to get those cubbies painted perfectly...and knowing me, it would make me a little crazy. Sanding, paint and a few coats of poly and it's done.
A light sanding first
The top folds back and a desktop slides out.
A little turqouise, gold, burnt orange, purple, aqua and gray.
Love the new hardware!
All done.
