Z on Sep 18, 2014I'm guessing you're talking about furniture. If so, I prefer working with water based stain and finish. I rarely paint furniture unless it's not real wood or already has too many coats of paint, though I have used my heat gun to removed paint before. Right now I've an injured right arm and wrist, from doing something else, so I can't do anything I need to grip to hard.Helpful Reply

The Garden Frog with C Renee on Sep 18, 2014I would have to say spray paint but not on 'real' or antique wood but on just about anything else. I love stain and rich woods like walnut and I love pine stained walnut exposing all the beautiful knots.Helpful Reply
