Getting Rid of that "Boy Bathroom Smell"

Ask Anna explains how using 3 household ingredients can get rid of that smell that mysteriously appears in a boys bathroom. Here is the readers question: Our front bathroom is pretty much used by our 2 boys. My problem is that I cannot get rid of the "boy bathroom smell." I scrubbed the bathroom last week, and have made a point to wipe things down and have them do it as well. I even replaced the toilet seats. It makes me want to go in there with a pressure washer full of bleach! Any suggestions on how to get rid of the smell?? I always worry guests can smell it too unless I turn the wax burner on.

After you cleaned the boy's toilet from bottom to sealing, put kitchen paper on the floor around the toilet bowl and also behind the pot. Then you can see where their leakes are going. My boy urinated just side of the toilet and it tickled against the wall and dripped via the back into the floor. Once you know where to clean, it goes faster. I only have my son for the weekend. On monday morning I clean just those spots and do the whole thing with the weekly cleaning. By monday mid-morning, the smell is gone.

After all your cleaning techniques, spray Pou-pourri in the water. It is so refreshing, and you can smell it outside the bathroom.
