I'd like to make a craft station on one side of a small bedroom. Suggestions?

I see that this question was posted several years ago. However, I would like to add a comment that I would highly suggest getting rid of a conventional bed and replacing with a trundle sofa/daybed instead, should anyone want to convert a guest bedroom into a craft room.
These units make use of floor-space much more efficiently than a conventional bed, are easier to make up if you do have an overnight guest, and come with a built-in trundle drawer. This drawer can be used for storage of large craft items, or for bedding. The top part of the couch/daybed provides a comfortable sitting area for working on small tasks at hand, watching how-to videos, or reading.
