I'd like to make a craft station on one side of a small bedroom. Suggestions?

I already have a strong shelf up. I also recently purchased another smaller shelf with hooks that needs to be installed. But need to find an inexpensive med sized desk with drawers for storage. Want something fun and functional. Not sure this will provide enough room to work and store all my supplies.

What about using a few file cabinets. The two foot size, then place a door blank which you can finish to match what ever your looking to achieve color wise. I use them in my office all the time. You can get plane two draw cabinets on Craig's list or Ebay for just a few dollars. Or go to IKEA and get some wood ones with rollers. Screw the door to the top and you have a moving craft table/desk.

You can often get door blanks cheep at the big box stores that have damage on one side. Not a ...»

big deal as its usually on one side near the top or bottom, Simply put that part on the side facing the top of the file cabinet.

I like Woodbridge's idea. I also saw a crib turned into a craft station: http://www.hometalk.com/148320/crib-turned-c... as well as a dresser turned into a craft station: http://www.hometalk.com/443799/dresser-to-sh...
