Many years ago I hand painted an entire room in fleur de lis. By the time I was done I hated it (it was painstaking) but it did get a great reaction and it looked nice. For my cottage bedroom I was trying to find a way to create a custom accent wall without going through those pains again and wallpaper wasn't turning out to be the answer either. I decided to go with an Allover Wall Stencil. If you've been thinking about trying one, check out the "how to" I just finished using the Royal Design Stencils. I love the designs, it was easy, a lot of work, but easy.
