DIY Vintage Caddy

I love this vintage style soda crate! It is so fun to fill with fresh flowers as a centerpiece and makes a fancy caddy for silverware during parties! http://www.shanty-2-chic.com/2012/07/mason-...

QUIZ: When is a jar not just a jar? ANSWER: When a Hometalker gets ahold of it! This is just too cute! Would even make a darling candle holder. Put rocks in the jar and stand tapers in the rocks!

Heather, the "distressing" is SO easy! Paint the box two or three colors, allowing each coat/color to dry throughly before the next one, then use 80 or 100 grit sandpaper and sand till you reach the desired results. I did that to a display table for my "beach" mementos, for that "beachy" vibe so many of us love.
