Suggestions for removing grey coating on non-stick cookware

My brand new red non-stick cookware has developed a grey coating on the inside and outside, and I am at a loss as to how to remove it without damaging the surfaces. Any suggestions would be welcome.
This is the greyish coating that has formed on interior of my new non-stick cookware that I bought just a few months ago.
Same discoloration Is on the outside. This pan is only used for boiling water over medium heat, and is always hand-washed, despite directions that say it is dishwasher-safe.

Are you washing them in the dishwasher?

@Carol, sorry, I missed that as I didn't read the captions under the photos. I did now. The only thing I can think of is your water is leaving mineral deposits on your pan. Try cleaning them with vinegar by soaking a white cloth with it and laying it over the gray areas. Leave it set for a few hours. You should be able to use a stiff brush to remove the deposits, it that's what is, then. If that doesn't completely remove it, make a mixture of salt and white vinegar (2 to 1) to use as a scrub. Again, sorry for my not reading it all. I was looking at the pictures and didn't even notice the writing underneath.

Thanks, Becky, the vinegar worked on the inside but not on the outside so that is probably just wear and tear!

@Carol, I'm so glad it cleaned the inside. It could very well be wear on the outside.
