Does anyone know of a way to remove hard water stains from a toilet bowl? I've tried a few things but no luck so far.

Have you tried the lemonade kool aid trick? I'm not crazy, Lol and it worked in our 1924 house years ago. Let it sit over night, scrub in am, tada!

Thanks @Dawn Bryant and @Suzie Ch I will try your suggestions. I appreciate your help.
  • @Linda, We do a lot of clean ups on foreclosures. The best results we have found are with Zep Professional Strength Calcium Lime and Rust remover. What I do is push most or all of the water out of the toilet bowl and then pour the Zep in slowly to cover the deposit, scrub it around with a brush and then let it sit for a while depending on how bad the build is. On really really bad deposits (like no one ever cleaned the toilet) I have had to let it sit for a couple of hours going back and scrubbing it a bit once in a while to loosen up the deposit. By the way this is an acid based product so be careful not to get it on you or any metal surfaces. Good Luck!

The Works for toilets. It can be found at the Dollar General if you have one in the area. It also helps keep the toilet lines clear.
