Anyone ready for fall yet? I'm pretending it isn't 90+ degrees outside....
I'm not a fan of orange, but fall is my favorite time of year- think I can decorate for fall without using orange? Or do you think I've jumped the gun a bit?
It will be 103 in Mckinney Texas today. I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday and all the fall and Christmas stuff was already out. Couldn't bring myself to look when it's so HOT!! Love your door though. :)
HOT here too and the humidity is torture! I did the same thing.. Made and put my fall decor up about a week ago....I do it the first week of September every year - hey we can DREAM of cooler weather!!! haha!
We had 37 degrees yesterday morning...and I built the seasons first fire in our wood stove...not quite ready for fall I still have outdoor projects to finish up. Life at 8500 feet in mountains can bring snow any day now...a few years back I shoveled 18" on the 18th of sept.
Wow, KMS, I can't even imagine! Our mornings are in the 60's now, so nice. But we're still getting the humidity and upper 80's. I like cooler weather, but not THAT cool! :)
Well . . . . . . NOT to rub it in or anything BUT we finally caught a big break this week. Our weather has been total perfection. Lo 80's during the day and NO HUMIDITY. Nights are perfect for sleeping - cool & windows open. Awwwww ;~)
Good for you Sheila! Me too in not Being a big fan of orange, now they are calling it tangerine...huh, cant fool me. However some are better than others. But going into all the stores lately, all the decorating stuff is orange, brown, rust, and halloween. Give me a break! Not everyone has trees that turn those colors in fall, ours turn a muddy yellow then brown. Frustrating! Love the purples. Stick to your guns!
KMS - brrrr!! 37 degrees??? No thanks!!!
