Adding white to antique china cabinet

I couldn't quite bring myself to paint the inside of my antique china cabinet but love the look of white interiors. I had some anaglypta wallpaper leftover from another project that worked great. I cut it to the size of each of the shelves, and used clear push pins to hold in place.

Love this idea. I too find it difficult to paint older pieces. There are a lot of old pieces that are not treasures, but I can tell from the photo that yours, while it would be stunning if painted, is not one that should be painted. Good for you for updating it without destroying it!

That is a very lovely piece that has been well cared for. I like your idea of temporary lightening of the interior so your crystal will display well. Good idea!
