Roadside weeds that make great garden plants too. Joe-pye weed, tall and wonderful, butterflies like it too.

the "regular" one was too big for my landscape so I got 'Little Joe', which I love! -
I use mine ( a friend gave me his because it was too big) at the edge of my property by the street and it gets 9' tall or taller, great !!! -
I was pointing out Joe Pye to my nieces on a road trip to North Carolina last week and their response was, "A weed? That you plant in your garden?" In this case, absolutely! -
It's true that a weed is just a plant in the wrong place!
