Fire pit Table Top

Convert your square fit pit into an outdoor table with a removable top. See the details here. http://www.infarrantlycreative.net/2012/07/o.... I used my Kreg Jig to build the top and then stained it and put a spar varnish over the top to protect it. This is perfect in the heat when we don't use our fire pit. I love when furniture has dual purposes!

Beckie - I have been on the hunt for an attractive fire pit (hard to find - although I do love yours) and did not want to keep it out in the open every day. This is the perfect solution! Love it so much - I am pinning to the Hometalk DIY board - http://pinterest.com/hometalk/hometalk-diy/

Great Idea! I have a round pit that sits idle much of the time. It can do double duty this way. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful idea! Much better than the ugly cover I just bought.

This a great idea!!! I have this "blob" on my deck just sitting there w/ a rain cover on it. Now I can find something to put over it and use it like a table for some adirondack chairs I just ordered. Thanks so much for the idea!!
