Concrete 2 X 4 cement block- ideas for budget-friendly upgrade

The walkway to my front door has sad looking/plain concrete 2X4 cement blocks. Any ideas on how to brighten them up? Thank you!

Try a concrete stain.

I used a concrete stain and hated it. Too much coverage. Used a wood stain and it colored the concrete but let the stone look show through, and I loved it! Try a couple brick purchased approx the color you have. Paint each with samples and see what you think. Before you do the whole project, use this test, then you will know what you get when finished.

For a little fun you could paint them with glow in the dark paint. It makes a beautiful evening path.
